LegioLink is a new, easy-to-use Windows application. It might well have been the forth application of an Office suite. It is all about tables, fields and relations.
You have used Excel and Word to make tables. Maybe you have tried Access, but made the conclusion that it is really a bit too much, compared to the simple tables you would like to make. Then you should try LegioLink !
Fields can be one of several types, which have their individual behavior with predefined functionalities. For instance: a checkbox behaves very different than a picture or a text field.
One of the key features is that all records can be connected to each other, wheather they are in the same table or in any other table.

Field types (data types) with integrated functionality
The field types in LegioLink is not merely a datatype, but comes with functionality/behaviour. This means a way to input, edit and display data, search, playing a set of data, indexing for search, filter, and so on.
Among the different field types, there are...
- Text. The text field can be almost infinite long, and all words are indexed.
- Images. Thumbnails are displayed in the lists for quick overview. The full picture is displyed by a single click on the thumbnail. Pictures can be played, ie displayed contigously. The resultlist of any search may be played.
- Sound (music). The main idea about this field type is that it can be played. As image, any search result can be played contigous. The player is Windows media player, minimal size.
- Video. This dataype can also be played. As sound, the player is Windows media player, but in resizeble mode.
- Checkbox.
